Savannah is a sketchers paradise - 22 Historic squares, each shaded with majestic oaks covered with moss, filled with fountains and statues, with wooden benches all around. The architecture of the homes and churches is absolutely gorgeous. In April, the azaleas are in full bloom and are beautiful to create the best paintings. I love to paint Savannah in April.
 
We will visit several of the Historic squares where Forest Gump was filmed. Isle of Hope, the famous Bonaventure Cemetery of 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil', beautiful Forsyth Park with its' regal fountain, River Street and the City Art Market.

We will eat at places like the famous Mrs. Wilkes House, The Pirates House, The Ole Pink House, Clary's cafe and Boar's Head. We'll also take a trip to the famous Byrd Cookie Company for a cookie tasting. Some will be fast food so it won't be too expensive. You will pay for your meals.

Participants will receive plenty of individual sketching and painting time and personalized instruction. If you want to take lots of pictures instead of painting, that's fine too. There is so much to see. You can bring your photos home to paint if you wish.

Invite a friend to come with you for a girl's trip and have a nice getaway. You'll have a good time seeing all the sights. I have the best itinerary planned out for you.
